What You Need

A CB setup requires:

• The radio itself — a quality unit with good range
• An antenna — the antenna matters more than the radio. A properly tuned antenna makes a cheap CB outperform an expensive one with a bad antenna
• Proper installation — clean wiring, good ground, antenna tuned to the right frequency

A bad installation means poor range, static, and interference. A good installation means clear communication when you need it.
